MANIFESTO, TAIWAN – The Association of International Nursing Alumni (AINNA) as co-host International Webinar held by Department of Nursing, National Cheng Kung University Taiwan with Asian and Pacific Alliance for Nursing Education (APANE). Involving nurse educators from various countries in Asia Pacific, this activity aims to support educational innovation to foster future nursing leaders with the theme Nursing Knowledge in Action Exchange of Experience in Teaching Strategy of Evidence-Based Health Care Transactional, this activity was held on Thursday, 07 October 2021.
As an international association that accommodates nursing alumni, AINNA seeks to contribute continuously to supporting the advancement of nursing, through sharing the latest knowledge. This activity was carried out virtually and was attended by more than 1000 participants from various institutions in several countries such as Taiwan, Indonesia, Turkey, Hong Kong, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Vietnam and Japan.
The opening ceremony attended by the Dean of the College of Medicine, NCKU, Taiwan (Professor. Yan-Shen Shan); Director Department of Nursing and as the chair of APANE Professor Nai Ying Ko. The 1st session of this event discussing about the Evidence-based implementation which implemented in various countries.
The afternoon session, opened by the associate vice president office of international affairs, Professor Miaofen Yen, PhD, RN, FAAN. In her speech, she expressed her appreciation for the high interest of participants, and hoped that this event could increase nursing collaborations, internationally. Also generate new knowledge that can bring changes for nursing direction in the future. President of AINNA, Sumarmi Arief, MS., PhD(c) really support this event through her participation in preparing and helping the committee in the execution of the event. Sumarmi hopes that this activity will be carried out continuously, international nursing alumni from NCKU can contribute in reshaping future education in nursing.
